Biography
Ahmad-Shah Duranai-Khan (Ahmad Duranai for short) is a Registered Architect with over 30 years experience in Canada, the United State and the Middle East working on a variety of large projects. Born in rural Afghanistan, he got a full scholarship to the American University of Beirut, Lebanon where he studied for 14 years in a variety of fields and received a Bachelor Degree in Architecture and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) Degree before immigrating to Canada in 1985.
His passion, to help others and to make a difference, led him to serve on the Board of Directors or as Advisor to the Boards of several non-profit organizations for more than 20 years. He served for 4 years as the VP of public relations for the Afghan Association of Ontario and 2 years as president of the Council of Afghan Associations in Canada. He has appeared numerous times on radio and TV shows with Michael Coren, Andy Barry, Mat Galloway, The Issues Channel and others.
He is the author of An Outside the Box Look at Afghanistan – New Ideas for Lasting Peace and Stability. This is a proposal to resolve the current situation in Afghanistan which has been discussed in several countries to bring peace to country.
In 2006 Ahmad found out about the Passion Test and through it he discovered his other passions and this led him to become a Certified Breakthrough Coach, a Certified Passion Test, and Passion Test for Business Facilitator.
Ahmad is the Founder and Head Coach of Duranet Enterprises Inc. which provides the Success 101 Coaching Seminars and Workshops that focus on fundamentals of excellence in Leadership. Through these seminars which have also been broadcast in Afghan languages via Radio and Satellite TV, Ahmad is helping people to have more passionate and fulfilling lives.
As a Passion Test Facilitator and Coach, Ahmad has helped many people from all walks of life to discover their passions and to build the foundation for happy, healthy and wealthy life.
